Pomposa Abbey is a Benedictine monastery dating back to the 9th Century built in the Delta Po Park and was a place of great monastic culture.

Here Guido d’Arezzo invented modern musical notation, Dante stayed here and other famous artists painted the walls with wonderful frescoes. Visit lasts 1 hour
